LAUNCH OF THE MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISE (MSME) BUSINESS MANAGEMENT TOOLKIT – WEDNESDAY, 29TH JUNE, 2016.

The Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) the apex body for all chambers of commerce and industry officially conducted a national launch of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Business Toolkit on Friday, 24th June, 2016 at Fringilla in Chisamba.

As provincial and district chambers we are launching the MSME Business Toolkit today, Wednesday, 29th June, 2016.

The MSME Business Toolkit is a comprehensive and highly practical piece of writing prepared by ZACCI & partners for entrepreneurs and startups, tailored to our Zambian environment and realities. There is no better time to launch the toolkit than now when a lot of people are yearning to be their own bosses by establishing or improving their enterprises. The Business Toolkit is applicable to different stages of business development and is composed of 6 booklets which include the following sections;

Section 1: Introduction to Entrepreneurship

Section 2: Planning Your Business

Section 3: Managing Your Finances

Section 4: Sales and Marketing

Section 5: Managing Your People

Section 6: Running Your Business

Each section can be purchased separately but it should be noted that all the sections should be seen as a whole package. The toolkit is intended to improve business management skills in order for enterprises to become sustainable and grow. It is hoped that these enterprises will make significant contributions to the local economy as they generate wealth and create employment opportunities. The books range from K60 to K100 in price “Knowledge is Power”, is a common adage and it holds true in this respect because once business management knowledge is acquired, it cannot be taken away.
