- To advocate for a reduction in the cost of doing business
- To advocate for incentives to promote sustainable growth
- To contribute towards the creation of a conducive business environment

- To promote networking among members and other stakeholders
- Executive Committee Meetings: These take place on the second Wednesday of the Month
- Sub-Committee Meetings: Take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month
- Monthly Business Talks: Take place every last Friday of the month where representatives of organisations that are promoting and supporting the business community are invited as guest speakers.
- Mines Liaison Committee Meetings: These take place when need arises between Copper belt Chambers of Commerce & Industry and Konkola Copper Mines Plc and Mopani Copper Mines Plc
- Chamber/Council Liaison Committee: These meet when need arises with the local authority
- District Development Coordinating Committee: The Chamber sits on this committee which discusses development in the district and meets on a quarterly basis.
